Lolab: Jul 10: Continuing with its efforts together Kafila Foundation initiated Community based classes in Khumriyal Lolab of North kashmir kupwara.During this students attend open air classes. The  classes were initiated to compensate the academic losses of the students amid the ongoing COVID19 pandemic.
After the educational institutions were closed in the second week of March due to the spread of the pandemic.

The aim of the classes were to make the young youth shine gain both academically & psychologically.

To address this issue, Foundation decided to start community Based classes at where in Voluntairees  will take classes of students in their local habitations.

President Foundation said  i along with BOD's took an initiative to start community classes in our locality & conducted classes of students in open air space with proper SOP's. “It started  at Khumriyal Lolab & will get  replicated in other areas as well,” he said.

The community classes will be  conducted on a daily basis by the team in order to compensate academic losses. The initiative gained momentum as the community classes witnessed maximum participation of students across different villages.
In community classes,we  have direct contact with students, an eye contact is better than the virtual classes. It helps children in developing their cognitive skills, a school-like environment is provided to children,” said Zubair Ahmad Mir who is pusuing Msc in Mathematics under Kashmir University & Providing voluntaire service  to   the needy during the Pandemics.

He said that Student's are involved in many activities, like home based assignments, class work which in turn keep students busy throughout the day & it saves them from any mischievous act.

People of khumriyal  lolab of North Kashmir Thanked Kafila Foundation for this move.
