COVID-19: TES contributes Rs 3.50 lakh in DDMF

Rajouri, Apr 22 (KNO): To support the district administration Rajouri towards containing the spread of Coronavirus infection, Tariq Education Society on Wednesday contributed an amount of Rs 3.50 lakhs in the District Disaster Management Fund (DDMF).

The amount was presented to District Magistrate Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh.

Vice Chairman Delhi Public School Rajouri, Sajjad Tariq, Administrator of the school, Mohammad Rafi and Principal of Tariq College of Education, Amandeep presented the cheque of rupees three lakh fifty thousand rupees to the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri as a contribution in district disaster management fund for the ongoing battle against COVID-19.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Rajouri, Sher Singh, District Statistical and Evaluation Officer, Bilal Rashid Mir and District Panchayat Officer, Dr. Abdul Khabir were present on the occasion.

It is also worthwhile to mention here that the Tariq Education Society has already dedicated the Tariq Residency hotel to the district administration for its use as a Quarantine centre.

While speaking on the occasion, the members of the Tariq Education Society assured that Tariq Education Society is always with the district administration Rajouri in its fight against COVID19 and is committed to provide best possible assistance to the administration so that the sufferings of the general public can be mitigated during this period of lockdown –(KNO)
